Karan Harris

It was a huge shock to receive the news of Karan’s sudden and unexpected passing on 8 February.

Karan was the lady, who on the coffee mornings arrived with an array of colourful and flavoursome cupcakes and traybakes, scones and during the season, Christmas puds!

She was the person, along with her husband Dave, who arranged and ran all the large fund-raising events at the centre, such as the summer and spring fayres; Christmas fete; bingo and quiz.

In particular during 2023, she did not let a mere organ transplant stop her from carrying on with her voluntary trustee work, including the cooking and prep for the community lunches.

Karan will be sadly missed for all that she did on behalf and for the CYCC and we send our condolences to Dave and son, Daniel on their loss.
